Out of nowhere got the CEL: Air Shutter 'B' Position Sensor Max/Min Stop Performance.
The grill opens and closes flawlessly when I select Sport Mode, and when I put AC on MAX. No visible damage and all flaps go to full open and full close. I can feel no play when I touch the flaps. I deleted the code twice, but it keeps coming back.

Does anyone know if the sensor is part of the actuator? I may have to pull the connector and clean it. Or replace the actuator?

At least I know now that I can "manually" open the flaps by selecting either Sport or MAX AC.

There’s shutters in the bumper as well. Do those open/close without issue?

Good point, I just looked. They seem to be the problem. Open and close about 30%. Very easy to open by hand. Guess that actuator is shot. No visible damage.
Can the actuator be replaced, or do you have to change the whole box? Looks like the bumper has to come off for this useless job Oooohhh,...ALL the fuelcosts that are involved in these flaps not working

I'm having the same issue, but not sure if I need to replace the ones on the top, or the ones on the bottom part.

I have the same code, with the "B" position as well.
