I just got my M340i and have a lot of questions. I held out until I found a car with 792m wheels. I thought they were staggered but they look square to me. I do not have an x-drive. Did they make 2 different sizes for 792m wheels? I could take them off to check the size but dealer did not give me a wheel lock key.

i believe they made square and staggered in the 792 and 791s. The easiest way to quickly know if your wheels are staggered or square is to check the tire sizes. 225/40/19 front and 225/40/19 rear would be square or 255/35/19 rear would mean staggered (unless its not a new car and a prior owner put staggered tires on square wheels for some weird reason)

Did you look for the wheel lock key in the small tool box in the trunk?
(Put a measuring tape on inside the rim will tell you if they are the same.)

The tires are square setup. 225 all around. I’ll check the trunk again for the wheel lock key but I think I’d hear it rattling around.

Ended up stopping by the dealer to get a new set of wheel locks. Bought the car from Braman BMW in Miami Fl. Took the dealer over 4 hours to change out the locks. Then when I went to pick up my car they could not locate it. Took them another 30 minutes. At least I didn't pay. Fix was included under warranty.

Good to hear it took them 4 hours to break the locks. Should mean that it's not a quick operation to steel my wheels

I think the dealer just works on their own time. They were not making money off me so my job could wait.
