Tough to say, right now it's 32F outside and was wearing a jacket with a tall neck so didn't really feel it. It'll probably make more sense in the "chilly" temperatures when the hot air can actually get to my neck. The color is Arctic Race Blue.

Got my G23 M440i xDrive just over 3 weeks ago. My 5th Bimmer. Got one mod planned: Dinan axle-back exhaust. Hopefully it will be installed in March (back ordered). In April I'm driving it from Massachusetts to South Carolina, then Florida for 2 weeks. Can't wait.

You might reconsider the Dinan exhaust....I put it on my 2020 m340 and will not do it on my m440....the exhaust tips are a bit too large and although the sound was generally okay, there was a bit of a drone in certain gears at certain RPM's...
I love Dinan and have had their parts on numerous BMW's for over 20 years but not fond of this application on this motor...

Btw......love the color ...gets many compliments.....

Not only have I only seen a couple of the road in our heavy BMW city of Atlanta, many of the new and used examples on autotrader and cargurus are still available.

Prime example is BMW of Mobile has had a 2-3 on the ground for well over a month and they are still available. I called them a couple of weeks ago and they were asking MSRP, but not over MSRP.

I had a hard time finding any available in Metro Detroit and Chicago this month, and allocations are all sold or unavailable too.

Unfortunately, I got the exhaust today and plan to have it installed on Wed. I am a bit worried about drone. Will have to see what happens.

I will keep the stock exhaust and I guess I can always revert to that if I'm not happy. I just hate the looks of the tips so much... every time I see the car from the back it looks so good until I get a glimpse of those exhausts and then I go 'yuk'.

In any case, I shall post what I think of the system onceit is installed.

Good luck....my drone was very limited to 5th gear in comfort mode....it went away in sport mode...

Hi all, new poster here and hoping you can help me.

I recently ordered a 430i convertible with the msport package. The website allows you to build one without the cockpit pro option, but it seems when the dealer tried to place the order, the cockpit pro was not able to be removed.

Has anyone else heard of cockpit pro not being optional?

I finally have a production date!

Hi there, I ordered my second G23 convertible in January. My first one (420i in black sapphire) got rammed by a truck driver who didn't understand the definition of a red traffic light

. car was total loss but at least I was fine). So I had to order a new one. now I ordered a 430i (if I can't have a bunch of options anymore due to chip shortage at least give me more horsepower than

) in portimao blue and since today I know the production date will be next Tuesday. so hopefully till half may I will be able to so show some pictures of my new ride. *fingers crossed*

anyone else have it in portimao blue with the black 791 rims? didn't notice one when I was scrolling through the pages.

I'm afraid it didn't. The kit they have works only on the G20 and G22 chassis, but the G23 and G26 have additional reinforcements underneath that make it not fit.

I had to reinstall the stock exhaust and return the Dinan. Now I'm hoping they will develop one for the G23 but they seem to be struggling to find a test vehicle to use for the development.

Get cushions so they can sit higher. But can't sit on top of rear

It depends on when you inquired.

I called them (Dinan) on Feb and the person I spoke to reassured me it should fit. I then ordered it through my trusty BMW specialist who warned me that they had some doubts. We waited a few weeks to get the kit and when it arrived the specialist spent a lot of time on the phone with Dinan that at that point didn't seem to have much experience with the G23.

All in all it was just the hassle but Dinan took the kit back and my specialist did not charge me anything for their trouble, which was very kind of them.

Now it seems like if you call Dinan they are more prompt in letting you know it won't fit.
