Is the 12v plug "Always on"?

Hey guys, I figured I'd post here since the G42 community doesn't have that many members yet. But I wanted to ask this group, does our 12V power adapter turn off after a certain amount of time? I'm going to be powering my battery pack for my dash cam via this and don't want to fully drain my battery when the car is off.

Both (front and luggage) turns off after 6 minutes in my M440 MY 21.

I can also confirm that the power tap that my fitcamx dashcam turns off after 6 minutes. (located in the rearview mirror)
