Performance mods?

Hi all, I’m asking those of you with experience and have the g20 m340i. What else can I do to my car on stock turbo to get significant gains?
My current setup is catless downpipe, stage 2, ngk spark plugs gapped 0.22” and a mix of e85 480whp. I thought of getting the burger tuning intake but I see there’s no much gain. I also heard stock charge pipe is good enough. Anybody want to give their input? Thanks

I'm sorry if this may come off as a smart ass, but one of the biggest gains for me was better tires. I pretty much have the same setup as you minus the downpipes, but the RF Goodyear F1s that came with the car were god awful. Switch this to Michelin PS asap if you haven't already

BMS intake will provide ~ 10 whp more, its a very good investment for the price

At this point I think (just my opinion) - your qwest for more power will lead you to either A-meth or B-another turbo (i know you said
no).

I'm not advocating for one or the other or either at all (that's up to you) - but I imagine at your current power levels your stock turbo is about safely nearing its' limits. An intake or an exhaust for that matter is going to get you power gains within the dynos margin of error and will be more for sound than the additional power you are after.

My advice....call your tuner and have them give you a roadmap to your HP goals? That may be the best idea :-)

Good luck happy moding - looking forward to your BMS review and your next steps

If you want more hp from an intake go Injen, i was the test car for the new intake they have coming out and they did a dyno with everything stock, car gained 16 hp.
Another suggestion would be to have your car dyno tuned with your specific mods, you'll gain HP/throttle response and put your mods to their full use.

Hi Orange_m340i , how much e85 are you putting on your car? Also is it on stock injectors, no upgrade needed?

480 horsepower.....AT THE WHEELS? Four Hundred and EIGHTY???And you want more form a 3 Liter engine?
IF your wheel hp dyno is accurate then you have seriously reached the point of diminishing returns with the stock turbocharger. You can spend another $1500 in non-turbo mods and I bet you MIGHT get 12 extra hp...…..or a blown engine......

The intake adds 5-10hp and a lot of sound, for the price and ease of install I suggest it.
