Man oh man here I was holding out to hope this would make the 2015-2020 F82 drop in price.

If BMW keeps up these ugly grill designs, the old eighties style car bra may need to come back!

No one has to make it uglier. It's already hideous enough!

Did anyone recently order anything from US Mill Works? Still in business?
I ordered a replacement one for my E92 last summer, it got knocked off somehow while in the city. This was as of August. They still make good stuff.

Besides the ugly oversized, incongruent grille, anybody else see the off-centered radar in the lower left nostril of the grille? BMW ruined the design of the 4 series.

Knocks wood. Same in Washington state. Haven't been bothered for no front plate

The more I see it, it seems the grill was a last-minute addition. Did the original design seem to be too boring and it necessitated a change? Now it looks the grill is slapped on, rather than integrated with the full front design.
The size is not the issue, the integration is.

They can say whatever they want about heritage and so on, it simply is not a nice pice of design and I was thinking they could do better....

Said it before and I'll say it again - we should all start petitions in each state to do away with front plates.

They're fine with motorcycles not having front plates, the only reason they want them on cars is for revenue generation + tickets. They say it can assist with finding stolen cars via license plate scanners, but the vast majority of the reason for front plates is revenue via tickets (either for not having the front plate or for traffic cameras).
We still have the two plate rule in Illinois.

Nobody is smart enough to allow one plate and charge the same fee.

I guess they need something constructive for the governors to do in prison😁

BMW probably didn't make the front look like the 8 as to not piss of their 8 series customers. I'm guessing 8 series customers don't want people on the street mistaking their expensive 8 for a lowly 4... not that I necessarily agree with it but I'm sure that's partly why they didn't go this route.
