A truck backed into me in a parking lot and this is the damage
How much do you think the dude's insurance is gonna have to pay to fix this? Will the door shell and fender need to be replaced and painted?

Pretty sure the fender and door skin will remain and the metal will be worked back into shape - which is good and will keep it oem. Money wise I would say $4,000 - $5,500k.

NO, get a new door and a new fender. No body shop is going to be able to mold those edges properly without a lot of bondo, which will crack and fail down the road.
Then repaint fender, door, and blend rear door/rear qtr (clear whole panel, paint just the leading 6" to blend) |

Now I got trucking insurance with perfect conditions. I used this site https://www.truckinginsurance.org/coverage/dump-truck-insurance/ to learn all about this question. It’s pretty useful and if you scroll lil bit down you’ll find a big list of insurance agencies to choose from. Ace group is perfect for me (third in the list), but better start from studying all the information below, to know all the prices, conditions and possible dangers
