I agree, but navigation was not standard on my last two 3 series cars, 2013 335i then 2017 340i.

Faster isn't always better.
in a way yes, handling is very important too

In my F30, I could hit the Start/Stop button twice and the dash display / radio / etc. would shut down.

In my G20, the only way I've found to shut down the dash, radio, etc. is to hit the Start/Stop button once, then open the driver's door if its just me in the car, or open both the driver's door and passenger door if my wife is with me.

There is a drop down in the middle of the home screen to tap that gives options of "screen off", "vehicle off" etc
A bit fiddly but it's there...
Leaving n locking Is easier

Yes that setting is called "Idle, drive or standby states".

Thanks for the two responses above. I went into iDrive and checked the box that says Turn Off After Door Opening.

In reading the owner's manual I think I found an additional way-

Press and hold the button until
the OFF indicator on the instrument
cluster goes out.

The button is the radio volume knob.

Very helpful review... thanks

I'm a little fuzzy on the difference between B46 and B48 engines. I thought the B46 was the low emissions version of the B48 for California, etc.. I also thought that my G20 330xi was a B48. Am I wrong?

Can anyone confirm that the space saver spare will (or will not) clear the brake calipers on the M-performance setup with 18” wheels?

The online build configurator allows me to option the spare with 18” wheels. Would be disappointing if it didn’t fit.

BMW needs to add a gesture for A/C ON/Off.
