Ceramic brake pads with standard rotors?

Ordered 2022 430i with the blue caliper option.
I could not afford the ceramic calipers and rotors upgrade but had a question. To cut down on brake dust, can I install ceramic caliper pads while keeping the standard rotors?

If so, which type of ceramic?

Just noticed a brake forum exist, so feel free to move this thread.

I've had the Powerstop Z23 pads on my 2012 M5 and they worked fantastic. For road use I didn't feel any lack of stopping power and they were silent very dust free. Much better than the stock pads which squealed a lot. I could not wash my rims for what seemed like weeks and there would barely be any brake dust. Also the dust color is lighter so what little there is didn't darken the wheel much.

Of course you can. I have installed ceramic rear pads from ATE and it works perfectly. Now the brake dust has been reduced.
