Has anyone ever seen this mentioned when they have looked on BMW’s recall webpage? My September 2021 build M340i has the old style rivets, but the BMW webpage shows no outstanding recalls.

Mine was one of the first at my dealer so didn’t even get chance to check a recall page or read up on what was getting done.

You’ll need a very small screw driver or metal pik. You then just push (fairly hard) through the hole on the face of the rivet and it will pop the back of the rivet out. If you’re lucky the back will work it’s was out of the back of the arch and fall on the floor.

Does someone have the part number for the new rivet. I'm trying to put in mud flaps too, and noticed I have this new kind.
Though I guess I'll need to look into what a rivet gun is... |

When I had this recall done, I already had the mud flaps fitted, I’m pretty sure they looked at it and went ‘...too difficult, he’ll never notice....’ and never replaced anything
