They told me the car was on a boat travelling around Europe. I even asked why a car made in Mexico would end up in Europe and was assured it was on that boat, they even confirmed with the head of logistics! After six weeks of following the boat back and forth across Europe I'd had enough and called them only to be told my car was literally on a truck on its way to the dealer! They would not know if they were getting you know whated! Good luck! BTW, I ordered mine in May and I picked it up on December 7th. Pic for reference Last edited by HFW003; 01-08-2024 at 02:55 AM.. |

Hey everyone first time using bimmerpost and i am very very confused on what’s happening to me so i’ve decided to reach out. I’ve ordered a BMW X2 2024 on 20th of feb and haven’t been able to check any status on my car, my dear ship is useless they haven’t updated me once i had to call myself 2 month after buying the car and then that’s when i received my VIN number. ive tried tracking it through the track.bmw.au website but no luck a message that says “no order yet” comes up which is pretty weird. so i recalled my dealer and that’s when he told me it will come in during the end of june, so i’m wondering has anyone had the same problem where the bmw website doesn’t work?

The BMW tracking website doesn't work for Australian orders. Once your car reaches status 195 (on ship) they will be able to advise the ship name, which you can then track on the Wallenius Wilhelmson site.

Correct. Unfortunately WW stopped the ability to trace based on VIN number, you now need a consignment number in order to search, which you're unlikely to get out of BMW Aus. So your best bet is to hound your SA until the ship reaches status 195 and they should tell you the ships name.
This is what the dealer sees |
