New BMW G20 2023 iDrive + Cluster
Hi, guys!
I just bought the new G20 2023 with the new panel. My bimmercode can't read yet my cluster module (what is fine for now), but for a while, the only code that I am nothing having success is video in motion. All the process works fine, but when I need to hold up the button to have the message and disable the secure system, nothing appears. Anyone have a solution for that? (Already tried it 10 times) Thanks! |

No one has a sollution for a while, right?
I sent an e-mail to BimmerCode and here is the answer: "Hi, the new fully digital instrument cluster can not be coded at the moment unfortunately and most likely it will never be possible. Video in motion does not work for ID8 unfortunately. The data for the new instrument cluster required for coding is kept secret by BMW and there is no way to get these unfortunately." So... no data for coding cluster and any answer about video in motion for now. |

Essentially, ISTA uploads the CAFD file that is used to change settings to the BMW backend to cryptographically sign, which is then used by the car. |
