I've been running the catted version for several thousand miles over about 4 months now and have not had any CEL show up. Just awesome sound and improved performance - no downsides here.

Thanks for the write up. It helped me decide on Apex, just got it installed last week and I love the tone and increased throttle response. Have to echo the sentiment on the build quality and the customer service was top notch (they sent me an ApexBuilt G80 shaped air freshener &#128514 Paired with a JB product this car is a monster.

Is Apex Built Gen 2 highflow catted dp Better than AA catted dp? in terms of build quality, sound and perfomance gains. Im considering either especially since Apex offers a lifetime warranty even if Cel were to pop as oppose to AA's 5 year warranty.

Active Autowerke uses the newest version and highest flow GESI cat, you wont find a better downpipe

I think AA is actually 2 years for the catalytic core, however I don't think I've seen anyone stating they've had CEL issues with it after prolonged use, except for right after install (I did not, but some have).
