Small update. My Garage still says Order Received (status 111). Don’t expect it to flip until next month.

Called BMW Genius, scheduled for the 22nd week (May 27-31st). So I have quite a wait. But at least I have a decent idea.

When are you anticipating delivery? Mine is in entering assembly line as of 04/22/2024

I believe there is a Ship leaving Mexico on 4/27 to California. If my car makes the cut to get on the ship, I expect delivery within the next 2 weeks.

Got it. Thanks for the response. Mine is in entering assembly line status. Not sure when it would be in transit given its east coast

Followed up with my CA today (4/30) on a few things and he was able to provide me production date

4/26: Scheduled for production
4/30: production date provided by CA: 05/22/2024

So a week earlier than initial expectations.

They expect it’ll arrive at Michigan dealer within the first week of July.

On Monday and Tuesday my tracking status was "in transit". Today it shows it went back a step to "at port". Does that mean it has arrive at port here in California or does it mean it's still at port in Mexico ready to be on its way here?

When my car shipped to Brunswick, it switched back to "at port" once it arrived there, and then back to in transit on the way to the dealership.

So that would mean that my car has arrived at port in California and should be on the way to the dealership soon.
I placed my order on March 8, which will make it less than 2 months. They must be quick to make these MY2024 before they switch to MY2025.

My understanding is this is the order you’ll see:

At Port (Mexico Port)
In Transit (en route to US)
back to At Port (US Port of Entry)
back to In Transit (en route to Dealership)

Mind you, this is only my 2nd order, so I’m a newb at this and I may be completely wrong

I was stuck at "ready for transport" for awhile too, so I didn't check for al most two weeks. Then when I checked tracking was at "in transit" Monday this week. Now I'm back at "at port". He’s an East coaster. We have all been dying waiting for our cars to get on a ship, they spent lots of time in Final Assembly and Ready for Transport, but hopefully Glovis Sun takes our cars this week.
