It is definitely a head turner. Much quieter than my old car, 2018 s5 Sportback. Handles the road way better. I like the infotainment system

Congrats. Please post pictures and update your timeline.

My exhaust is also loud and nice. I was just referring to the road noise and comfort. For some reason, s5 was taking too much road noise. I think the comfort level is similar to a 5 series.

I just drove for the first time today. Are RPMs computer limited to 5k during breakin?

No, but you shouldn't be going over 5k until after a few thousand miles..AND not until your oil temp is up to operating temps.

Baltimore is the port of entry, then routed to IA. It's maddening as I expected some delay but not going on a month.

My car switched to In Transit yesterday and today it went back to At the Port. Frustrating indeed but this gives me hope that it's OKAY to have such a long time to be on the Port

That's what happened to my car last week. Apparently my car was stuck in transport to the port for over 3 weeks, even though it said at port already online. It went from at port, to in transit and back to at port. The in transit piece was moving my car to the actual port. So allegedly I'm now at port as of 7/28 and they said it could be up to 3 weeks now before it's actually on a ship. I'm actively negotiating on a car already in the states, even though it's not my first color choice as I'm not waiting another 2 months for this car.

New technology, 0-60 on m340 is faster than 2016 m3, more comfortable car. Reliable engine, brand new

Only buy 2016 m3 if you are planning on driving the car on a track in my opinion.

M3 would have less depreciation, wouldnt lose value after driving off the lot, more engaging, M3 is faster by .1 secs 0-60 and around a track but I am not a good enough driver for that to matter. And save $18,000. Thats a lot lol

Because you don't know who used/abused it?

But you're right -- 18k is a lot.
