Again, just merge the new, clear, light, modern, 2D logo which lacks character with the old, charismatic, immediately identifiable logo, to create the perfect combo for a fresh start, one single logo to be used consistently across all brand communication and on the actual vehicles (alternatively, with silver surround and lettering instead of white on the actual cars).

I like it. Those bulging 3D logos look dated in print. The badge looks good on cars because, well, real life is 3D lol.

Isn’t this how it always goes. I don’t like the new logo but changing the logo at some important milestones of a company (like the introduction of EV’s) is IMHO more than normal.

The Verve - March 4, 2020 - "BMW’s new flat logo is everything that’s wrong with modern logo design - Why would you make your logo harder to see?" - see here.

Sure it was. People upset about a logo that was supposed to appear on new cars, when in fact, it was for other purposes i.e. corporate logo on sites, header logo on paper etc...in any event, old news.

You know what...I wouldn't mind a set of coasters In the new BMW logo. Would set off a glass and metal coffee table perfectly. What say you, BMW AG?
