Looks terrible in that picture. If the grille was at least 30% smaller and looked like the 3.0 CSL hommage I'd be all about it, but this... ugh.

I thought CSL homage is just as big as this, think the homage looks better because it's slightly slanted (which might not work with pedestrian impact regulation) and doesn't extend all the way down (just a bit above)

That's what I mean. They're smaller vertically and more recessed into the body, makes it look better proportioned and far more aggressive.

Also should make it clear that the R version looks substantially better than the normal one. That's the one I was referring to in my original post.

BMW, please please make the M4 look like this!

Looks like I'm keeping the F82! I rather pay to extend my warranty then buy something as hideous as that.

Hopeful once we see the full package it'll kind of work. But I'm a real buyer, holding off on next car purchase until I see official pics of M3. I'd say at this point it's a 10% chance at best I buy one of these. Sad because the size and performance (which I'm sure will be great and a nice step up from f80) are perfect for what I need. I just can't buy a car I think is ugly.

Yep, that's it for me. It's been a good 20 years, BMW, but you've just gone too far for me.

I guess I could just always buy older models. I do drive a used car at the moment. I guess I'll just miss building one and ordering it exactly the way I want it.

Maybe on to Porsche. Or Mercedes. I guess.
