Hi guys

I’ve managed to code the assisted view but when I want to automatically change the green arrows don’t show up in the instrument cluster. The car does automatically change lanes but it’s just the arrows that don’t show up

Would I need to use esys to get the arrows?

And also should there be any changes in the HUD as that’s the same as before or does that need coding too

In my european 2020 G20 330e (manufactured in June 2020 and delivered in December 2020) with Driving Assistant Professional I have software version 2021-03 and I confirm that I have the surround view of the lanes but not the option of Lane Change Assist. I'll try to code it these next few days and let you know.

J'ai une I4 M50 G26 de 2021 avec le 5AU mais en France la voiture ne fait pas le changement de voie toute seule. Jai bien le Assisted view dans le compteur mais pas dans le HUD.
Puis-je coder la voiture afin qu'elle change de voie automatiquement comme sur les vidéos que l'on voit dans ce post et avoir le Assisted view dans le HUD?

I've had lane change working in the UK for a few months now.

It didn't require ISTA coding either. Been using it quite frequently and it's never not worked or moved with the blind spot activated etc.

You do need to be quite forward thinking in its use as if you get to the point where you slow down behind a vehicle and then indicate out, if the speed delta is high it will get into the empty lane and kick out down and can be a bit jerky . But if you plan ahead, indicate early it's fantastic.

How did you get this working without using ista?

Sorry I don't have time to get a how to put together just now but I used an OBD dongle/app called OBDeleven.


It's a VAG system mainly but they have moved into BMW etc recently.

I was using it recently and found they have an in app purchase ( you buy tokens) for the lane change but their description used a different name for the vehicle package required factory fitted.


I spoke with them regarding it on an LCI with the package I had and they assured me it should either work or be able to flashed back if I took a backup file prior and they would refund the tokens.

I gave it a go and literally 30seconds later it worked 100% and has been spot since.

I have also flashed comfort plus and a couple of other things and it's all been faultless.


If anyone decides to do this please speak with OBDeleven via their app directly as I did this at my own peril after their consultation.

After stop your car 5 minutes, and restart it. You are supposed to be able to activate the function under this menu in your idrive :
