Nice, I've just done G025 LTD too - they are awesome wheels.

How come you went 8.5 front and not 9?

For a daily driver, Didn’t need anything too much. Plus didn’t want to run a stretch. Also staying at the 1%
I’m changing the rear tires to 285/30 once I get my coilovers in.

Interesting as I know RAYS list 8.5j fronts and 9j rears as their recommended G2x spec. Obviously you decided to go 10j rear though, which I certainly think is the better option!

On the subject of stretch... I have no idea why, but my 265/35 rear MPS4S tyres are more stretched over the 10j RAYS than the same tyres were over my previous 10j APEX wheels - which I cant really make any sense of!

Your current 275/30 looks very similar, if not slightly more stretched than my 265/35 - so I will certainly keep an eye for your update with the 285/30, as that might be the sweet spot.

That, or next time I need tyres I might try 245/40 and 275/35 - but not sure how that would fare on the rear with 10j ET33....

I’ve seen 235/40 on 9 and the 275/35 on 10. It was on apex wheels.
Stayed under 1%. Also Its a taller spec wheel.
I also went with the spec I have now, just because of the height spec being lower-
I’m not crying about my odometer being of 2-3 mph.

The rwd cars. 9-or-9.5 works with some rubbing. Cause u don’t have to stay under the 1% without running taller spec tires.
255/35 on 9 or 9.5 is nice spec. But to match it with the rear- staying under 1% is tough

Yes, I have 235/40 on 9j and 265/35 on 10j - works well and like you say is perfect for xDrive.

If upsizing further with xDrive it seems 245/40 and 275/35 is probably the next most logical option to maintain the right rolling radius front to rear.

New stance wheels, need tire help.

I was able to pick up some ESR CR wheels in the specs of 19x9 20 / 19x10 35. Just looking for some tires that are going to sit flush to a little stretched. As of right now looking at 235/40/19 front / 265/35/19 rear or should I just run both at 35 sidewall? Going on a 2021 M340i rwd seeking flush fitment

No spacers, stock ride height, adaptive suspension.
At full lock the front the tire has about 2mm of space (red). The inside of back rim and tire have about 5-8mm between the fender lining at the tighest points (blue).
Hi, sorry for writing you about an old post, but I was wondering with this aggressive fitment have you experienced any rubbing on the front consider it is only 2mm from the fender lining? I am thinking about 9x20 et25 with 245/34/20 at the front and 10x20 et38 285/30/20 at the back.

Hello everybody.

I am looking for summer setup of wheels.
M340i xDrive half daily, half weekend car After many researches I have found that this setup will work best for me:

F 8.5x19 ET20 235/40/19
R 9.5x19 ET35 265/35/19

It is very in within xDrive 1% calculation, looks good from side (meaty racing sidewall).

Any experiences with same setup, should I change something in dimensions before ordering?

Hello fellows,
Anyone tried 275.30.19 Rear on G20? Offset? Rubbing?
I am currently on 245.35.19 and would like to get new after-market staggered rims: 19x8 front and 19x9 rear.

thank you for the insight!

Hi there, nice choices!
I am thinking of getting new 826M replicas wheels for my G20 M340 RWD. 19x8 ET 28 and 19x9 ET 42. I am trying to figure out if it fits.
I am not sure the rear will work easily and what tire size to chose. I have been playing with the size calculator...
Based on your experience, does 275 work well? I am thinking of 275.30.19

I am currently on 245.35.19. square with 19x8 stock rims.

Thank you

Hello very impressive.
Are you using OEM 19x9.5 square on the G20?
Able to fix the rubbing/poking?

Appreciate the insight.

Hey guys need some help with fitment. Got a set of VS-5RS 19x9 ET25 and 19x10 ET38. I'm on ST coilovers set to a moderate height. I'm planning on going 275/35/19 down from 285/35/19 on supra wheels. The front I'm not sure what to run. RWD so 1% doesn't matter nor do I care about the speedometer difference.

From what I've gathered ST coilovers will likely require a minimum of a 5mm spacer. On my current setup with supra wheels I was running a 15mm spacer on a 255/35/19 and running into a lot of tire rub in the inside. The rubbage is relatively moderate as I've still been driving on the rubbing tires but it's definitely significantly depleted the life of the tire so I'd like to switch it with something that doesn't rub just to have piece of mind.

I was told by Apex that a 235/40/19 would work good in the front without spacers but I'm slightly opposed to this as I prefer the wider track for better turn in and reduced understeer. Granted it's a daily but I'd like to squeeze as much performance out of it as possible.

Do you guys think a 245/35/19 would work? What spacer would you go with a 5mm/10mm/12mm?

Also Apex says they don't make a 10mm cause I guess it won't fit fully hubcentric so I'm slightly opposed to a 10mm but I'm on a stud conversion so it should be fine but I would prefer if all the force would sit on the center of the hub rather than the lugs itself.

Hello everyone!

I own a 2020 M340i I’m looking to go for a rim upgrade this year just not a fan of my oem rims.
Here is a picture of my current rim set up.

I’m looking to go with something like the 795M rims that come on the completion style. Another rim that I absolutely love are the HRE FlowForm FF10 they’re absolutely beautiful. I’m looking to go super aggressive on my car and do something staggered like a 19-20 a 9 width in the front then 19-20 and a 10-10.5 width in the back or 245 and 285. If anyone has any recommendations at all I would love to hear!

Did you add special suspension for it ?

Because i am confuse, i have the 17’’ rims i want to upgrade for something looks wilder but the roads in my city are sooo ruined, so i am thinking of 18’’ but they look a bit thick

So what is your driving experience regarding the comfort?

Has anyone considered Ferrada’s? Their new designs are pretty nice. I just wish they had 19”.

Hey all. Just purchased a 2025 M440i. Looking at new wheels and have settled on 20x9 +27mm. Considering 255/30r20 and 255/35r20 for tires. Would the 255/35s be too tall? I'm concerned about it rubbing the strut.

We did 245/35, 255/35 will be too tall.

Even with the 245/35 some brands are running taller than others, so you can have rubbing issues if it's not the right brand.
