Doesn't look like your strapped for cash. If I were in your shoes, I would find a fun 6 speed car to fill the void. Something relatively inexpensive that you can scratch the itch when you want to feel engaged when you drive. Because if you don't, I think you'll be behind the wheel of another 911 with a manual sooner than you think. Just trying to save you the hassle.

No itch yet that’s for sure! But if anything, I missed out on a manual M2 CS.. that would have been a fun one.

2023 BMW M3 CS  [10.00]
Took delivery 2 weeks ago. Did partial ppf (including seat backs as I'm rolling with a 7 and 3 yr old), tints around, 12mm spacers and M Perfotmance Wing. I have Arma Speed intakes, M Performsnce Rear Winglets in the garage waiting to be installed. Will go Eventuri reluctantly if the Arma Speed doesn't work out.

Has any one run a square set up on the M827 20x10.5 on 285/30/20s? I'd love to fill some of the gap in the front wheel well and go 20s all around on M827s. Considering resonator delete as well. Really don't think it needs any more power so no tune in my future.

Break in service is next week!!

Partial Quote by OP.

“ in the current market, some dealers won’t take less than 100k for a GT3 allocation… if you have a relationship with a dealer, it’s all dependent on their waitlist and VIP clients. Crazy time we live in”

Wow, I can’t imagine paying 100k mark up for a car but I guess some do. Reminds me of Rolex tho. You can’t get a new one of the popular models unless you have a relationship with dealer and purchase history. And even then forget about scoring a Daytona anytime soon. Only difference is Rolex dealers can’t change the retail price. But the pre-owned market is a different story…that’s gone crazy. Supply and demand. Crazy times indeed!

Congrats!!! Great looking car bro! I can’t wait to see what you do with it. I love the G8X in general. I wish I could have both my 992 and the G8X, but alas, my pockets aren’t that deep. Lol!

Wow, congratulations Nick!!! You have gotten yourself a most beautiful drive!! I love that spec! Its an M3CS, my humble input would be to keep it as is. I have an M2C now & was thinking of the fresh M2 but your M3CS just got me! Enjoy your new German thoroughbred!

Congrats Nick. M3 practicality, IMHO, will always win against a 911. But performance wise, 911 is on a different level. I am still not warming up with the G80 series. The front for me, is a deal breaker, for now. I traded-in my YMB F80 M3 Comp for a 992.1 TS since I rarely need a four-seater anymore.

Im slumming in the 997 so thats much less refined vs 992, which to me is a modern muscle car level type of experience when flooring it today, it is so bloody fast but of course it is way more refined. I just thought road noise in them is still pretty big but granted this is so so dependent on tyres and road types youre on. I had on my porsche days seemingly loud tyre setup and older type of road that kinda of still was loud even for new car.

Hey,
Thanks man! Trust me, my goal is to keep it OEM+ for sure!
M2C is a phenomenal car! If you’re location is accurate, I’m pretty sure it’s rare too in the Philippines. Enjoy it!

I hear you! I was 100% in the same boat with the G8x.. I truly enjoyed my F80/992 and never thought I would get one and yet here we are.
I am slowly warming up to the design aesthetics of the G8x though, but man driving this thing is so much fun! Congrats on the Turbo S! No looking back now -especially if you dont need a four seater. Share some pics! And Enjoy that beast!

After a lot of back and forth, I finally pulled the trigger on a G80 M3 CS. It’s a 2024 in BSM with the Gold Bronze 827M Wheels. For me, it was a big leap of faith as I haven’t really driven a G80… and the grille.. the very controversial grille. I don’t love it, I don’t hate it. I think it’s ok to move on since there’s so much more to the car than the kidney grille. The interior is gorgeous and bucket seats are phenomenal - they’re actually very comfortable for driving.. getting in and out? That is something I will have to get used to. After a couple hundred miles of driving so far, I can definitely tell that this car is more than capable especially compared to the F80. What a machine. Can’t wait to push this car post break-in!

Little bit of background about myself - I’ve owned an F30, 2 F80s, G05 X5 and a G07 X7 m60 as our family haulers. Safe to say, I have a soft spot for BMWs, especially M cars. More recently, I also owned a 992 C2S, which I absolutely love - it’s such a well balanced sports car.

BUT Why did I move on from a 992? It was certainly a tough call as I truthfully did not see myself getting a G80… but a lot of people I know kept raving about the G80 and how good the car is. And with the CS being ‘special,’ that really got me intrigued. When the opportunity to purchase an M3 CS presented itself, I went for it. As Jim Rohn once said, “Life is a collection of experiences…” I think it was time to experience driving something new.

I’m looking forward to this fun new project.

Here are some stock pics for [...]
Absolutely stunning vehicle and spec.

Your car wouldn't happen to be at ACM to be wrapped? My car is there for a little work and this exact spec is also there.
