Hello to all.

I would like to have Apple CarPlay on my G20, but now in my car installed version with BT.
I found maximum correctly version for my car if head unit with CarPlay would be installed at the factory: 65 12 8 734 812 (HWEL_000040EA_002_001_005). But on the marketplaces I saw version with another part numbers, this partnumbers are replaceable by the spare parts catalogue. And this replacebale head units had HWEL_000040EA_002_001_004.

Could you help me, please, what are the differences between the versions with HWEL_000040EA_002_001_004 and HWEL_000040EA_002_001_005?

HWEL_000040EA_002_001_005. S18A(G20,G05,F40) has this hwel only.
HWEL_000040EA_002_001_004 and HWEL_000040EA_002_001_005. Can be found in S15A,eg G30,G11,G01

If i install version 004 on G20, will it work correctly? Or is only version 005 suitable for me to install?

It should work. the firmware files will mostly be similar. The hardware difference can be fixed by flashing. This is not a guarantee for it to work.
