Replacement tire question
My 2019 330i came with the square set of 19" 225 40 19 Pirelli All Season Run Flats that are hard and loud with low grip. I'm considering replacing with non RFT summer tires ( still evaluating which ones) but wondering if I can put on the staggered tires sizes to the stock 19" wheels. Front are the same size as but rear would be 255 35 19. Thanks !

Max you can fit on the 8" is 245.
See in another thread, I had the same square runflat options. Purchased 2 8.5" rears to match the front and now have 245/40 up front and 265/35 rear. Stock but beefier look

Thanks for verifying - maybe just putting the square set up but much better summer tires such as the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S or Conti Extreme Contact would be enough of an upgrade to improve handling and still look good, just not that staggered look I would like.

P4S is a huge upgrade in ride over the the runflats.

My one complaint about my 2020 BMW M340xi is the road noise on these tires.
I did not want any of the other wheels because I wanted gloss black. I got what was available but now regret the tires because they absolutely suck. Not sure how the handling compares but the road noise makes me feel like I am driving a shitty car not a $70,000 BMW |

My e90 335 came with run flats ( I bought it used and I'm pretty sure the bmw dealership just slapped them on considering it came w/square set up instead of staggered ) ... I feel they did more damage to the car than anything. Definitely rattled the front enough to brake a bracket for the fog lights and broke a headlamp housing 😡 I'll never have run flats again 😂

Mine came with the 19" Double-spoke bi-color orbit grey wheels, style 793i with all-season run-flat tires. The wheels look nice, but I wish they were staggered and had either the summer run flats or replace them as discussed above. The non run flat tires alone should be a big improvement . Those pirelli AS run flats I have are loud and hard a f

Can anyone advise the max size of the Michelin P4S's for a square setup 2019 330xi please? Is it the 255 35 19 you guys mentioned early on? For 19" wheels.

If you have the 225/40/19 tires front and rear aka the square set-up. 255 cannot fit your stock wheels. Your choices on the 19X8 wheels are 225, 235 or at most 245 width. 255 width fits the 19x8.5 inch wheel.
