330e boot dimensions (baby pram fitting)

Hi,

I was looking for the dimensions of the 330e boot (due to its reduced size compared to a regular G20). I managed to see them once weeks ago, before ordering, to make sure I could fit a baby trolley... but can’t find them anymore! Can anyone please help?

Thanks a lot

Might be worth asking the BMW genius online. I cannot find dimensions online. If I had my car for Christmas I would have measured it for you.

Thank you. I checked at https://discover.bmw.co.uk/help/sear...oot+dimensions But there are no links to boot dimensions.

Andy3661 thanks but I’d like to know the width*height*depth, on its narrower side (with the "floor up")

No problem at all, found this on one site but can't say how accurate it is but was from November 2019.

L=4,709mm W=1,827mm H=1,444mm

What size pram do you have? Mine arrives on Thursday and I'm happy to post a photo of it with our city mini GT in?

Thank you Cranester1983! And how does the boot space feel with that baby pram? Can you still fit significant more stuff? I do not travel with a lot of stuff but waiting a baby I am just a bit concerned about the boot space.

PS: I just edited the title just in case it can help future potential owners with children having similar concerns

From past experience it doesn’t matter how large a car you have as the wife will fill all available space with child support equipment.

Take delivery of my new 330e tomorrow so I’ll check and let you know! Only tested it out at a dealership during ordering process.

Congrats! I pick up mine tomorrow also.

rf3000 it may be worth heading into your local dealer with the pram and giving it a try yourself!

Anything that the seat comes off will. But do yourself a favour and avoid those great travel system monstrosities. We had ours for about 4 months before we ditched it for the city mini. It pushes nicer, folds easier and was about half the price. Spend the extra on a decent rotating car seat, which are the dogs danglies.

Thank you guys!!!

I will get the car before I purchase the pram. Just wanted to make sure there won’t be any "conflicts" there. I will follow your advise Jebk, the smaller the pram, the better

I think you'll be fine with most fold up pushchairs, the boot is fairly deep and wide, it's the height which is restricted due to the raised floor; although you can drop the section nearest the back of the car (which otherwise is a storage space for cables under the floor). You end up with a sloping "step" but gives you a bit more room. I've actually been surprised at how much we can cram in it. Having moved from a Mondeo hatch with a huge boot, in 3 months we've only had to use the roof box once, when going abroad on holiday. Having said that I remember how much "baby stuff" we used to carry around so I imagine it might get a bit tight to fit loads of other stuff in.

It's been a few years since we needed a pushchair but we had an UppaBaby Vista and the back wheels could be removed really quickly which helped it fit into smaller spaces. They were a bit pricey but it was a great unit, lasted our two and we still got a decent amount of money selling it 2nd hand.

Update. The full travel system fits - just! Not much room for anything else. You’ll fit bags etc in but not a case / golf clubs etc.

Sorry for delay - my daughter is 3 now so had to pull all the pieces out to try it!
