My M440 Xdrive GC arrived at Baltimore port on Friday, 22 October. Currently is sitting at Baltimore VPC since Monday 25th, RAM stop sale. Genius said that the vehicle "should" be at the dealership today.
Not holding my breath since the recall tool indicates that the RAM work order still open. I'm just waiting, not too thrilled about the BMW swap of power seats for manual seats.

Port of Brunswick GA for me. Genius is saying it should reach the dealership on Tuesday. Now I’m not so sure either. I read on another blog that the RAM recalls are averaging 1 to 2 weeks.

My M440 Xdrive GC arrived at Baltimore port on October 25th, just like leotorr according to the BMW recall tool the audio module issue still open. I called BMW Genius to further get more information they told me my vehicle still at Baltimore VPC. They can’t release the vehicle to the dealership until parts installed.

My theory is that the GCs are deprioritized for the RAM install since these cars aren’t released for sale until Nov (14th?). Hopefully soon tho.

My 430i is on the truck to the dealership today, ETA to dealership is by Sun. Arrived NJ port on Oct. 22, work order was opened on Oct.25 and finished on Oct.29. Once work order was done, I used the link to track and found audio module recall was ‘closed”. Waited for carrier assignment on Nov. 2nd and was shipped this afternoon. The dealership is 2.5hr away from VPC. Hopefully I can take the delivery soon.

Update: the car was at dealership this morning (11/6), the dealership told me it will take 3-5 days before I can take the delivery, not sure if they wanted to wait until the official sale starts.

Donington Carrier docked at Baltimore port should be about two weeks I'm guessing till delivery. I have no stop sale on my 430i GC, No RAM dependency so I'm hopeful.

I ordered my car in early August. After 3-4 weeks "At the Port," when I was told it was awaiting an Audio Module chip, and 4 weeks "In Transit," my G26 has just reverted back to "At the Port."

I hope that means it is at a port in the *U.S.* but I will call the dealer on Monday to see if they can get more info.

The car is an M440i in Aventurine Red Metallic, Shadowline Black trim, fully optioned except, red calipers, with 19" M859 wheels and performance RFTs. (I got those mainly for road trips, including the first one from Spartanburg back home. Planning a switch to non-RFTs for regular use.)

I have placed an order back in February for a G21 330i with almost all boxes ticked except for the tow bar. Sport seats cognac among others. After receiving the contract, I noticed a strange option "deleted passenger lumbar support". Asked the SA, he could not say exactly way that would be. Did a bit of investigation and found out that there were some issues with the chips (was at the beginning of the year, when the issue started). Checked with the dealer and changed to the M seats, as for those the lumbar support was for both driver and passenger. My lady is often in the car with me so it is pretty important that she has the best comfort. Delivery was planned for June.
I started to read not long after that on the internet about some issues with the car chips. I sent an email to my SA asking to make sure that the car will be built as ordered and I rather wait than having a car with missing options. He did not understood exactly why would I need to wait. He said that the car is configured exactly as wanted so no worries.
Then, in may, I got a call from my SA and he told me the that BMW cannot deliver the ACC. He asked whether I can live with the cruise control without the adaptive, that was unfortunately a no go for me. I use this quite a lot.
Then the 4 GC was announced, the configurator on the BMW site was showing all options possible. So, without any drive test I placed an order in June for a G26 330i tanzanite blue with cognac M seats, Hartman kardon, ACC and pretty much all the goodies. Except for the tow bar and the gesture control.
Taking delivery on November 13th, the vin I got from my dealer shows no deleted options. One more week to wait 🙂. Fingers crossed that there will be no surprises. I am convinced that my SA knows already that I am not interested in a luxury car without the options I want. My current G20 MY2019 has all these options and I want to have them in the GC as well. Should that be the case, I would rather wait till this shortage is solved, although seems to be a challenging issue for all car makers. In my opinion, a luxury car maker should try to keep the standard. A BMW with no power seats is not the end of the world, especially if you are the only driver. But I would still like to have them, nonetheless.

For those in stop sale for RAM, I spoke with my SA who sent me pictures of what they see as far as the process and the dates the VDC expects installation to be done and when the car should be sent... seems like a 5 day turnaround.

My car arrived on the 5th and was being worked on on the 6th. Estimated date to be sent to dealership is the 10th and arrival at dealership is the 12th. So about a week delay.

When you see at the port a second time, it means at the port in the US.
It will then show in transit a second time which means to your dealer.
Car will look smokin I’m that red with shadowline.

That would be awesome. The boat my car is on pulls into port
tomorrow morning 11/8. One week to dealer make my week.
