2019 330i steering whirr

hello all, i apologize if this is a stupid question but this is my first time driving a car with EPS, so i'm not sure if this is normal.

i drive a 2019 330i M sport. today i noticed a slight whirr coming from my steering wheel. it can be heard at all speeds but it is more apparent when i turn the wheel slowly. i can also feel some resistance along with this whirr. here is a video of the sound. the recording makes it quiet but it is definitely noticeable in person.

is this sound/feeling normal? if not, how serious is this? thanks!

My car makes the exact same noise; multiple other people too. Dealership has told me it's normal noise. It's definitely annoying.

somehow i don't recall noticing this before, weird. but i'm glad that my steering isn't broken. thanks for the info.
