Alphabet leasing and Covid-19

Just a heads up for anyone Business contract leasing from Alphabet.

I had a five minute consultation with an extremely helpful and professional representative who arranged deferred monthly rental costs for my car to be reviewed in 90 days.

It’s too early for them to say what will happen going forward but it’s possible that any deferred payments can be added to or adjusted at the end of the contact.

Most importantly they were very helpful and understanding.

You can contact a representative direct on 0370 0120 392 option 4

This will save going through all the options.

Stay safe everyone!

Thanks, wasn't even something we had thought about to be honest!

As someone who worked in finance for almost forty years I would encourage anyone who anticipates having problems meeting financial commitments of any sort to contact the lease/mortgage/finance company in advance of potentially missing payment(s) to discuss the situation. Most will be sympathetic and try and sort out a way forward.

I’m a self employed agent (limited company) selling to High St retailers who are now all closed for the foreseeable future.

It’s £450 pm I could do without paying when I can’t even use the car.
Petrol down to £1.02 per litre here but may as well be 10p 😂

Definitely agree, keep outgoings as low as possible at the moment. Typical that fuel is currently quite cheap but makes no difference when you can't use your car. Watch it sky rocket as soon as we are allowed to. I have almost a full tank so probably not even worth filling up for when we can drive again.
