Ask your dealer they have them ... though I would request a refund better ... who pays $65 for a cable

It was a build that the dealer ordered for me. I didn't request the cables or the first aid kit so the dealer discounted them off to remain at the selling price we agreed on. Surely I'm not the only one that BMW added these cables to. Dealer wasn't sure what they were when I took delivery.

I would suppose that the dealership has the ability to add official BMW accessories or other items with a BMW part number to the window sticker. I may be wrong there - so hopefully someone can confirm or deny that. But if I am right, it doesn't hurt to at least consider a second possibility: the dealership has a tactic whereby they add these things to the order without consent from the buyer, and remove them only if the buyer notices them and protests. Either way, as long as you didn't end up paying for something you didn't order (and, especially, didn't receive), no harm done. But if they indeed did try to pull one over on you (and I am not saying they did) that would be a bit of a red (or at least yellow) flag as far as trusting them for a future purchase and/or vehicle service. |

I always thought that the Monroney sticker was from the factory, not the dealer. Is that not right?
I’ve seen additional stickers by the dealer next to the Monroney for things like rust proofing and remote starters. |

The Monroney is printed at the VDC. The dealer would have added the extra stuff to the order and the VDC would have "installed" them.

It seems like a similar process could apply to arbitrary BMW parts and accessories (i.e. things not specifically designated as "port installed"). |

Yup those are the cables. They are port installed accessories that the dealer probably forgot to remove from the order. Same goes for the first aid kit.
