I registered my 330e (Company car) with my tax office last week.
Coming from the Lexus IS300h my taxable yearly rate for my car came down £1100 and the guy at the tax office said “that’s some saving over your last car and it improves in April 2020 as it’ll come down a further £1600”. Thank you, I’ll take that. |

It seems strange but as I understand it the tax percentage is 13% for cars registered before 6th April 2020 and that percentage will stay the same for the following years until 2022/23. However, if you register the same car after the 6th April it will be 10% and go up each year there after by 1%. Is that is correct, the same car will have different BIK tax rates depending on when you register it. |
