BMW Live Cockpit Future Evolution?

Can we safely assume the newly launched Live Cockpit will gradually evolve over the air towards this design seen on the 8 Series Concept? Chunkier color stripes, larger numbers in sport modes, 3D first person view GPS, color code alerts... Overall more legible with a more striking visual impact.

Maybe years from now. The bean counters probably forced the engineers to use a cheaper SoC for the iDrive, so we just get a scaled down version of that pre-rendered concept. The X5 one did not look impressive at all.

I think BMW should start over with these graphics. They look very amateurish. Do they still offer gauges???
