I've actually found a silver lining in this. With each new picture we see of the new 4 series, my M4CS appreciates in value....!

I guess if we are going to insist on maintaining history and heritage of the brand, all BMWs should look like the first BMW in-house designed cars of 1932 and never ever change. They should all have big grills, no sharp Hoff Kink, flatter sides with broader shoulders (fenders) and no body crease through the door handles, and no round angel eyes, and... hmm... might the new 4ers be the only current BMWs true to the original heritage of the brand?

You know what the age of 193x, all of cars were shaped vertically, so the kidney was vertical shaped.

Not insisting on keeping tradition we are insisting on making a car real car people want.

Well, at least want until their lease is up. Then it’s time to swap for the latest and greatest, or whine because the manufacturer didn’t consult with them on a new design.

Real car people appreciate something about many cars and buy the ones they like the most.

I would just like to take this opportunity to say the A5/S5/RS5 coupe and sportback are elegant and without all these dumb tricks. At first, I thought that Audi was going too "plain", but seeing a sportback in person and it looks good and with all the other crap going on, "plain" looks downright beautiful.

That car does exist. It is called an 8 series. Only problem they will take a lot of your money.
