Custom order M340i and pricing

I have seen previous posts where people are getting 10% off MSRP + current incentives but no dealer in my area (SoCal) seem to bite my offer for a custom order car.

Are dealers having difficulty with allocation or I am just getting unlucky with my timing?

I contacted a couple brokers to see if they have better success.

TLDR;
Is 10% off MSRP + current incentives ($1500 lease credit) not realistic for a custom ordered M340i anymore?

Thanks.

I got 10% plus incentives, but mine was on the lot. I could see it being tricker on a custom order. Probably more willing to negotiate on something they have in stock.

In general the discounts have dropped over the last few months, in some areas quite significantly. 10% is likely still doable if you are in the right place at the right time.

I've seen the same posts and managed a mere 5.3% discount for an in stock m440i from one dealer and a 4% from another. All negotiations done remotely, not sure if it will make a difference if I was onsite, I suspect that might be good for another %. I must be the worst negotiator on the forum.

Stock seems to be very limited in my area. Hoping to walk away with one this weekend and be back in black.

Depending on which area you're in i would suggest working with a reputable broker if you can't break 9% pre incentives by yourself. They should be able to get you 10% and with their fee included, you'd be looking at 9% and change.

From what I understand and my research, people aren’t getting as large of discounts on the 440 vs the 340. That’s part of the reason I went with the 3.

In the Washington DC Metro area, I got 10% off MSRP on an M440i convertible, pre-incentives and 0.9% 60-month financing. Signed the build order a week ago.

Dealers must be hungry for sales in your area. Great deal. Enjoy your car.

I've got 9.4% off my custom order lease in socal but was told allocation most likely won't be until June/July. Doesn't help I also wanted tanzanite blue.

I am using a local broker and just today got a price of 1% off MSRP for a new build. Told him I'll pass. I thought brokers took the hassle out of finding the best price. Not a good start to my search. It seems like it's going to get worse not better with respect to manufacturing supply.

If you want my contact at BMW of Loveland just PM me. Discounts have come down but you should be able to beat that 1%.

Oh yeah, thanks. Might do that. Just surprised that was the offer presented to me by my broker. The build sheet had the Lumbar delete on it, and I'm wondering if there are any other deletes coming down the pike. The news doesn't seem promising.
