Sure, and if I had an unlimited budget that would be my choice too. This isn't "just" a simple car, it is an M340. If I wanted a simple car I would have purchased a "Ford" or something too LOL.

I have a number of vehicles and they all cost money, so I suppose if I only had one or two it would have been in the cards to do that, but as I mentioned, I don't give two shits about the things I don't have on this car. If you require a heated steering wheel or a vibrating seat than you probably don't need a car you need a couch.

Actually I have FULL M340... but ok I'm a clown for wanting THE PREMIUM from BMW, not just BMW... if you want just BMW, buy 320D why M340?

And btw sir, HUD(head up display) is one of the most freaking things you can get those days ... I even had that on my 2004 E60 BMW... I cannot imagine not having it in my M340.

Fair enough...but realize everything has a price. I can see your perspective but you are missing the point. Yes, sticker on the car was ~60 but fully loaded would be ~70. BIG difference. That is more than 10% more. At this price point that is a lot.
BMW should probably have more of the options as standard on many of the cars they sell...I agree with you on that.

Actually, here in the U.S., one of the things Bimmer fans like best is that BMW lets you choose quite a few options individually. They would prefer that BMWNA have fewer option packages and more individual option choices.

I am quite the opposite and buy these cars for performance and driving enjoyment, not luxury and toys.
When I got my F80, the only one on the lot they had was loaded with Exec package, and all the goodies. Told them, take all that out or I am not paying for it. In the end, bought it for $10k off...
The G20 I got has all I wanted and still turns out that the beauty is about the engine, transmission, decent brakes and decent tires...
All the rest is a fluff that BMW loves to sell you because that is where they make big $$

And that is what makes the ability to add, or not add, options to a BMW so important. The same vehicle can appeal to so many different consumers and uses. I’m a check all the boxes kind of guy because I want all the toys, technology and features but for others it is just as satisfying and appropriate to have the base model.

Since you are so into opinions, here is another one for you: Your opinion is lame and obnoxious.

Let the man enjoy his car.

He got a very well equipped car, by no means a stripped down model at all. You act like he got some 320 rental car spec. Everyone has preferences, for example, I don't like heads up display, and 360 camera I also don't care about, either. In fact, I'd rather not have either of those specific options they feel gimmicky/novelty to me. And I have cars with and without. Others might not. Heated steering wheel I love but that is just me. But I am not going out and criticizing someone for their choices either, especially when they just got a brand new (very nice) car.

It is called subjectivity.

So yeah, people differ from you. Mind your business and enjoy your own car. OP, love the Alpine White and overall color combo.
