I am looking for black m340i badge. I don't wanna buy a cheap knock-off. Want obv. A good quality product. As I've been looking I see such a variety of prices from $16 to $100+. Can someone recommend a site that has a good quality black badge(m340i). Thank you

There is really no in between. Spend $15 on ebay or $100+ via IND Distribution. While i am sure the IND version is top notch quality due to being a painted OEM part, i went the ebay route and im happy with my gloss black 330i emblem.

So it's not the same. That's what I want to kno. There is a diff. Between $16-$120. Bc I'm not spending 100 and I can get it for 20 and it be the same shit.

I'm assuming IND is an OEM emblem that is sanded down/painted, whereas eBay options are replica emblems that are either painted or coated during the manufacturing process. There's no way you'll buy OEM emblems painted for <$50 otherwise.

You may want to check bmwpartspros? I saw a black m340i badge during Black Friday sales and think it was $56?

Yes as far as I know, IND still uses OEM parts and repaints them meticulously.

That said, emblems are largely injection molded plastic. The BMW roundel is made with a couple different layers so is a bit more complex, but honestly I wouldn't spend much money on it unless it were a limited car like an M3. Not even an M340i is worth spending $100 for blacked out emblems. Not that I would ever get blacked out emblems in the first place. All the eBay ones these days are good enough that they will last the life of the car and look like factory pieces close-up, never mind from 20 feet away.

Did the ones (330i) from eBay match with the OEM size and font? If so, do you have a link.

By chance did your order the xDrive one as well and did all match up?

The ones from IND are excellent. I have them on my X5 but they are pricy.

Does anyone know the size of the XDrive badge? My X5 and 2series are different lengths but the height seem to be the same at .5 inches. Just the length would be of great help. TIA.

I bought a black m340i badge from getbmwparts.com. Highly recommend.

I bought an OEM one for $65. Free shipping no tax. It came from Latvia. Took forever. A little high, but they were hard to get when they first came out. No one in the States could get it and most said BMW did not have them in the system. Part #51142472849. It is a gloss black and looks great. I have not installed it yet. I think my local dealer is $54 on them now. Before tax of course. So it should be easy to find now.
