BMW 330i G20 Exhaust
What's up guys. I got a muffler delete in my 2020 BMW 330i B48 earlier in the year and have recently bought a catless downpipe. I was wondering if adding that would make my exhaust sound better. Does anyone have clips??

The catless DP will definitely make it sound louder. You'll hear the turbo whistle more too.
You'll need a tune to remove the cell light that will be triggered by having no cat. Another consideration is depending on which market you're in - you may have the dreaded OPF filter. By removing the cat, you're likely to destroy the OPF filter which is positioned just after the DP |

In my opinion, catless + muffler delete does not sound good. You're better off getting an axle back. It sounds better

Wouldn't this be a question to ask BEFORE buying a down pipe?

What was removed exactly everyone says something different…was it the OPF or more towards the front there's a smaller one. People are saying removing the OPF causes issues?

That's what I thought but everyone here says to not remove the OPF. The guy at the shop said from thr OPF forward to the tips and do a Y pipe and quoted me $400…

SMH okay so all I needed to do was get rid of that resonator in the 2nd picture? Won't cause any issues with how the car drives just going to add noise?

Thanks I appreciate it I'm still learning about these cars I had a S4 and it was the same thing just remove the resonator but things seem to be a little more complicated with this car or it's just me getting old..
