Removal and Replacement of front left lower grille on a 2020+ M340i
Has anyone ever removed that front lower left or right outer grille before on a 2020+ M340i? Noticed the other day my driver side front lower outer grille has a broken piece on it and was wondering if there's any steps, illustrations or even video on how to remove that trim piece?
There's this video here, which I am also changing this piece but wondering if there's something for the entire bezel Thanks in advance Last edited by areohbeeM340i; 10-05-2021 at 01:33 PM.. |

Anyone know or had there lower outer grille break and replace before? Can't find any info on this at all. Wondering if I have to have the bumper removed to have it replaced

Might want to go to a site like getbmwparts.com - look up the part and diagram and perhaps that would give you a visual on how things fit together? Just a thought

That's where I got the part number for it. It just shows illustrations of the grilles, nothing on how it goes on

You should be able to pull it out as it's only attached via two clips, one roughly centre bottom and one at the part the trim begins to slope downwards from the top right side 'corner'.

Got it taken care of. Glad I took my time on this and got it in the hands of the right person to get the bumper off. Everything is good to go and the car looks really good with the outer lower grille trim now in gloss black and paint matched side reflectors
