I will be vinyl wrapping my car later this week and was wondering how to remove this piece. I have seen videos on how to remove the piece to the left which just requires popping it out. But I'm focused on the rest of it. Is it held in by clamps just like the rest, so should be able to just pop out as well? If anyone knows, please let me know. Appreciate it.

Don't quote, but it's my understanding that it comes out from behind... meaning the bumper needs to come off.

Think what you have circled are two pieces, at least on my 2020 M340

I replaced the vertical pieces that surrounds the "pseudo-vent". It's held in place with its loops catching teeth on bumper. Kiessport has a great how to video; check it on YouTube: How to Install BMW G20 Front Bumper Trim (BMW M Sport High Gloss Black Front Trim)" on YouTube

Yeah I've seen that video, so I do understand on how to remove the vertical part. But I'm trying to figure out how to remove the rest of that assembly piece right next to it. Thanks

Kies Motorsports dropped a new video showing how to convert the 330i base bumper to the M340 bumper. He does go over installing those pieces on the bumper.

Thanks! I checked it out and I was in the middle of removing my bumper and got all the side clips out with no issue but when I had to move on to the clips right under the kidney grills the bumper would not budge at all. In the video he simply puts his hand behind the bumper and pops out each clip with no struggle. But of course I tried everything and still couldn't get passed like the last 3 middle clips to fully remove the bumper. And fyi I was attempting to remove it anyway as wanted to vinyl wrap it off the vehicle. Plus looks like the way to pop out the pieces I wanted to, the clips are on the inside/back of bumper so either way have to remove bumper to get to that.

If any advice or someone that has a 21' model maybe they added a harder way to get it fully off? I really did try for a while to get it off the last few middle clips and still nothing.

I was going to experiment with yellow Lamin-X on my fog lamps...

Maybe the universe is telling me it's not worth taking everything apart.

I'll be stripping my car soon so I might be able to get a clip of how to do it but that will be in a few weeks

Did you have to remove the bumper and did you take out the whole grill? I’ve got the fog lights in my 330i and want to replace it with the m340i vents!
