Hi guys, does anyone know if the M340i has OPF fitted for australia in any of the years of production?

While I was at the Dealer today, I asked a mechanic about the Otto Partical Filters. He said that no M340i cars imported into Australia have been fitted with OPF.
He believes some have been fitted in Europe and USA, and he also believes that OPF fitted cars will arrive in Australia in the future (time frame unsure).

yeah i think its likely eventually but that is good to know - as the OPF cars overseas where i am at the moment all sound distinctly quieter

I have a 340i FL coming next month and will post but doubt it very much. Our sulphur content is too high for an OPF here.
Last late Feb last I took delivery of a new G42 M240i and that did not have an OPF
Worst case scenario Lieb Engineering in Germany has been supplying OPF delete modules for BMW for years, this does not affect anything as the car remains untuned so no flags
