Hi All,

Recently ordered a new M340i, Anyone here have a new M340i LCI is able to provide exhaust sound clips of the car or would it sound like the Pre-LCI M340i's in Australia?

just curious on what it sounds like as i cant seem to find anything anywhere to confirm for AU models.

exhaust sounds exactly as my pre LCI

but the fake engine sound is 100x better, mine is just a horrible drone - so i turned it off.

Does anyone know if the IconicSounds function is available on 2020 M340i XDrive? I can't find it anywhere!!!

no but you can code engine sound option to idrive 7

your exhaust should be mightly burbly and popping and banging already, in sport plus, being 2020

Yep, I figured out it needs to be in Sports Plus and in "Sport" Gearing to get the pops and bangs.... to me they aren't that loud, but all good, I do get them.

I had also, did the "Fuse Removal" mod for the Exhaust valve to stay open all the time.

I'm just about to install an MST Intake and will later on get a Downpipe and Tune, so we'll see how loud she gets.

Is the car still going to meet legal noise limits, after putting on Intake and Downpipe? The M340i, gets crazy load after those mods.

Maybe they are more relaxed with noise in WA.

I installed the MST Intake last week. It sounds great and isn't too loud. I'll be getting a Catted Downpipe and leaving the stock exhaust on, so overall, it shouldn't be too loud.
