O2 spacers?

I have a VRSF Catted DP and it gave me CEL. My shop told me to put 90 degree O2 spacer to make it go away, well here I am with said o2 spacer with the cel still on.
So are there any O2 spacers that you've tried and know they work for our cars? Or is this car too damn smart and I should give up on trying to outsmart the computer system? Lol

They worked for me

MPE + VRSF catted dp + exhaust flap mod
https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1705027

My cel has come back on 2 or 3 times in the last 8 or so months but has always gone off within a day or so.

Can you link me to the o2 spacers you bought?

Is it safe to "fool" the 02 sensor?

They are pretty important to get the air fuel ratio correct. I don't know if I'd want to mess with that personally. Thats just me.

I think you can fix this with a flash or a JB4 properly and keep the o2 sensors working the way they are designed.

Good luck with it either way you decide to do it.

JB4 doesn't offer that capability but a tune def can.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but the sensor before the cat is for a/f ratio regulation; the sensor after/in the cat is for emissions.

Fixing aftermarket (catted or catless) downpipe issues with a tune is just turning "off" the rear sensor
