Ah thanks mate let me try , twice I heard a clunk and thought what was that, and it was the seatbelt unclipping hahah

May have already been mentioned but when using the sat nav and pressing the map button it repeats the last instruction.

Be careful the range/power of the key fob is pretty crazy !

Sitting inside a pub about 30 mtr. from the car and a friend comes in and tells me my boot was open.

Realised the key in my lower jacket pocket had pressed against the side of the chair.

Tested again at work and can unlock the car even behind several brick walls !

Rear view camera

Noticed when reversing with boot (trunk) lid up, that the rear vision camera does not operate. Suppose a view of the sky is not that useful while reversing!

If you approach a stationary car faster than usual, the forward collision warning goes berserk. The red car symbol starts blinking, there are two big red lights on the live cockpit (in the middle of the speedometer and tachometer respectively) and the alarm gong keeps sounding, louder than usual.

It's quite good. I set my forward collision warning on early to remind me to be less aggressive

Did you know there's a 'Connected Command' function in the BMW Connected app where you can control certain functions directly from your phone? It's even as responsive as pressing buttons on the car itself! Never noticed the button before as it appears only if use the app while the car is on (I was parked trying to see if RSU would come up haha).

Very cool but I can only see it as useful for passengers in the rear.

That's interesting. I wonder if it happens in my car too. Can't wait to check it out!

I can't tell. Is that pointing to the right? Or the side with the arrow is where to port is? So it's on the left?

I tried it in my car. It didn't work unfortunately. No connected command.

Recently I learned that if you are in adaptive cruise and need to squeeze over into the right lane, hit your blinker. The car detects the guy alongside you and slows you down so you can merge in behind him!! Might need to have DA Pro...

The battery symbol has a arrow pointing to the left, charging port is on the front left
The Gas symbol has an arrow to the right, gas filling port is on the back right

I just found it nice that the battery symbol also has the arrow. It is normal for quite some time for the gas symbol having an arrow to the side of the filling port location

The other day I was shot by the police's speed gun and the car showed me a huge exclamation mark on the HUD and the dash. I was in a tunnel, so it could've been that the laser reflected somewhere and reached my car, but I guess I was about 200-500mts from the police. At the moment I didn't understand what that meant, until I saw the police by the road

This is a feature not documented anywhere. So, if you ever see a big exclamation mark on the HUD or dash, press the break and stick to the allowed speed limit for a while. Then stop and thank the car for saving your ass

Does the G20 have a laser/radar detector built-in?

No idea tbh, but from what I experienced that day, it seems so. It'd be nice if someone could test it.

This is a big one for us folks in colder regions. Prior to the latest software update when I used the remote start the heated seat and steering wheel would not turn on. With the latest software update, I get into my car with a heated seat and a heated steering wheel!!!

How can you be so sure about it? I think it's totally possible that the car detects when you've been shot by a speed gun if that signal interferes with the car's own radar. Maybe it's not a radar detector as such, but it has the same effect and the car warns you about it, of that I'm sure, I saw it, I experienced it myself.
