Greetings M Performance family. I have a Vgate icar 2 OBD professional when I use it on bimmercode I can't access Advanced Crash Safety Module and Body Domain Control Unit. The error message says "This control unit is not accessible with the used OBD adapter"

My Question is, does Vgate Icar Pro has the same limitation? I am thinking of purchasing it but I need to know if I won't be throwing my money in a pithole. Vgate is the only OBD that is easily available in South Africa at the moment.

I don’t see Vgate as one of the approved adapters on the Bimmercode website.

I could not use wireless adaptors with bimmercode and the G20 for full access - like you I could not gain access to all the modules (this despite the fact that this same setup worked flawlessly on my last couple BMWs)

I ended up ordering a simple lighting to obd cable and it works flawlessly (and much much faster vs wireless)
