Wheel vibration/juddering
My G20 320i msport makes an odd juddering/vibration when making tight turns and applying the accelerator simultaneously. It's done this since I got the car from new (only done 1100 miles). Is this normal?
The juddering feels like it's coming from the front wheels. It's not affecting performance in anyway (as far as I can tell) but feels weird, like the car is front wheel drive. My old e92 didn't do this. Would appreciate some advice here! |

Lane assistant has two parts. it will take control of the wheel or the vibrate when you get to either lane. Sometime in turns my will vibrate even though I stay in the lines. That is the main reason I turned off the lane assistant...because rise in the road that moved any direction sent the car to the middle of the road. Try going in a straight line and go toward the end of the road. you will probably feel the wheel vibrate. I think you can also adjust the feel more or less vibrate too.

This happened to me the other day in my 330i! It was just the steering wheel juddering when I made a turn. It began happening in the middle of my drive. Once I parked and turned off the car for a few minutes and began to drive again the juddering went away and hasn't returned again. I just figured it was a random software bug with the electronic steering.

Did anyone get anywhere with this? I have a 2020 G22 4 series which i think has the same issue. When turning right over unperfect ground at maybe 15 - 25 mph (i.e going round a roundabout), a rattle/vibration can be felt through the steering wheel. Almost as if something is tapping from the inside of the steering wheel out. No vibrations on the car whatsoever. It is definitely not the lane assist vibration as i have this fully deactivated and it still does it...

Took me a while to find the thread.

Not saying this is the issue, but be aware that if you have your turn signal on, and a car is in your blind spot, the wheel will vibrate to alert you. I think this happens even with all your assists off.
