No deal in place. COVID, slowed down our decision to go to car allowance as we just froze all spending for a few weeks but we’ve recently announced so I’m good to go. The issue now is no motivation at BMW it seems as no one is close to any bonus or incentive. So I’ve literally had to search stock on every dealer site to see what’s available, then send it to different dealerships to get confirmation. Local dealerships have been closed here and are in part opening back up today.

I think I’m giving up on inventory. The deals aren’t good enough to compromise on what I want so may build, but it’s questionable whether they’ll even build a my2020 before the my2021’s fire up.

I would never compromise if I had to use the car for the next 3-4 years. Puts you in a tough spot because no one knows when factories are going to resume production and who knows how long vehicles will be delayed since production is just one part of the entire logistics process.

I decided not to compromise. Signed for a new build at lunch today... in and out pretty quickly since I knew exactly what I wanted. I do need to wait now and I’m not overly patient but at least I’m getting exactly what I wanted...eventually.

Now is likely the best time to buy in terms of incentives - up to $8,000 in incentives for 3er models.
Hey Bingo

I’m pretty close to a deal but I’d gladly take a better one.
$8000 in incentives? Meaning factory + Discounts?

What incentives are you referring to? For the M340 I’m only familiar with the current $1000 delivery credit. And the $1500 from 3 payment program.

Sorry, reading the sales program matrix wrong. Post corrected.
(330i does not get the delivery credit, instead they get the $2,000 xDrive credit).

M340i xDrive up to $5,000 if you have loyalty which I'm going to assume you don't have,

My friend and I are going to order ours next month together. We are in Alberta, he went talk to the dealer last month and got 6500 discount on M340i. But he backed out because he still wants a White exterior and red leather combination. Next month will be the private sale event in one of the BMW dealerships in Edmonton so not sure how much we can get with 2 orders at the same time. But I will keep updating in this post here.

The "Upgrade Sales Event" does not seem to really benefit potentially new clients - credits seem to be the same as August. Current BMW owners receive 1.5% loyalty rate reduction or purchase credit (varies by model).

What the out the door price you guys are getting for a 340i or 330i? Not sure I understand the % discount + incentives.... is that a double dip? I'm in Van and don't know if $65k for a 340is a good/bad price?

I have been educating myself for the last couple of weeks on this. From what I am finding, people negotiate a % discount on the MSRP, and then the cash incentive is subtracted. The manufacturer gives an incentive to the dealer when they make the sale...I'm no expert...please anyone chime in if this is wrong!
