I guess the best way to make the car looks good is to hide all the design aspects of the car

For me its not so much the grill that looks bad, but I think its the bumpers. these might be the worst two front bumpers I've ever seen. The standard one might even be better than the msport trim.

Black shadow grill is the best option but still doesnt make it attractive. I hate that if you want active cruise you need to add digital dash bc bmw's digital dash is awful, but I get it, they want to implement the safety warnings only on one UI.

I know you and I know there is no way in hell you possibly think this Lexus with a BMW badge is appealing. Some designer vomited the grille and it splattered to the rest of the model design. Not even all the ///M parts BMW can muster will save the G80/82 models. ///AVM |

Idk man, I really dig this in the M performance guise. I do give it to you that in the basic trim, it looks a little odd. But all BMWs look a little odd without some aggressive trim pieces. If I had to buy a new coupe, this would definitely be my pick. But you know I'm on a late model kick recently. Super into the E92 M3s. I think that generation looks killer!

The 3- and 4-series are hideous, ///M parts or not. The front grill cannot be forgiven, and the rest of the design is unrecognizable as BMW. . . but might draw a Lexus consumer's interest. You are correct about one thing . . . BMW is not building these things for enthusiasts. ///AVM |

It's beginning to look like an Infiniti coupe. Hard pass.

I'd do Portomino blue on Cognac interior. Still can't get over the front though.
I'm curious to see how the 440 drives with dynamic handling pkg + high performance tires. If it's handling/steering is as muted as the 340's then forget it.

The front grill is the design language for the new generation of BMW EV's. The 4-series is an introduction to this new design language. Seems like they r trying to ease people into it. But it really does look awful! I just can't get over it no matter how hard I try.

The 4 series has always been heavier than the 3 series due to hatchback weight and a stiffer reinforced chassis hence slightly slower.
It does allow for a tighter ride and better handling though because it allows suspension to do its thing and wider track along with lower center of gravity. |

Really, that front end is such an affront to my sensibilities I can hardly even stand seeing it on the configurator..... |

I'm so glad that someone posted that the G22 was now live. I almost missed an episode of Desperate Housewives.
