Keep getting zapped by the car (Static electricity)?

Hello.

I have G20 2021.

Does anyone else experience A LOT of static electric shocks?

It's like every time I get in the car the start button zaps me and every time I get out I get zapped.

I have never been zapped so much in my life literally every day I get zapped and it seems to be getting worse.

I don't remember getting zapped so much when I first got the car and I am mostly still wearing the same type of clothes.

Interesting, I gave the seat a good clean with leather cleaner and I have entered / exited the car 2 times to go places now and have not been zapped where as before that would definitely have been a guaranteed 4 static shocks.

Hopefully this was the problem and that a clean(er) seat doesn't allow static to build up so much.
