New Track Package for the M340i in Canada

I ordered my M340xi today in Canada. There is a new Track Package with 374mm front rotors and dedicated engine oil cooler for 950 CAD.

Will 18" winter wheels fit over these rotors or would I need 19"? I think the F80 has 380mm front rotors (right?) and 18" winter wheels will definitely fit on it.

If only that was available when I ordered mine in February..: ugh smh *♂️, I'm guessing this can't be purchased separately as a kit? And also from what I heard you need the 19's as the 18's won't clear the Caliper

The dealer told me I can't order 791M wheels without the Track Package, which I really don't need. Not sure if its bullshit.

That's weird, when I ordered mine in late feb, I got the 792M wheels with high performance tires and staggered setup, but they never brought up anything about a track handling package, thus while that was going on, people in the US had the option of the track package and the brakes and rotors are huge, I compared pics with mine and I'm like wow.. I would've loved the oil cooler to. I'm planning on taking it on the track eventually, here's the comparison btw,

That is my concern! I saw that post too last night. I think the 374mm rotor is too big for 19 inch wheel. It needs 20 inch where g20 doesn't have. It almost doesn't fit 19 inch. If rock or debris fly in there, gonna scratch the wheel for sure and also it doesn't look good. I am going to ask another dealership about it and also bmw canada hq order manager. I really don't want 374mm rotor. Also it cost 950. Which i want to save

Don't know if this helps, here is my photo of my caliper. I have a 330 Xdrive and opted for upgraded M-Sport Brakes, with 791M style rim. According to Real OEM my rotors are 348mm in the front. That is strange how the upgraded rotors of 374mm can fit with 791M Style too..

It will fit but barely. That is why I don't want 374mm. It needs 20 inch wheel. Like G30, 374 is standard for m sport brake but it has 20 inch option

My F30 M Sport brakes have 370mm rotors up front and I use 18" wheels for my winter set. F80 comes with 380mm rotors up front came with 513M wheels in 2015 which are 18" so I wouldn't make a conclusion just by looking at the rotor size. It really depends on the caliper design as well as the 18" wheel design. Some 18" wheels may fit while others won't - just have to try them.

Don't rely on what BMW says... on my very first 4 series I ordered, the BMW build system had REMOVED the M Sport brakes from my order because they had selected the 19" all season tires option even though it would have fit no problem. Needless to say, I got them to order me another one with the correct specs.

I am happy with 348mm rotor. And I end up get 791m without track pkg by escalating to bmw Canada hq planning manager. I can't wait to get the new car
