Anyway to change the center console light color?
My car is a 2021 so the light behind the little center console door is that ugly halogen color. I see the 22's and up the color matches the Ambient lighting. Can this be coded to change?

I don't think you can change it. I have seen people on this forum put a small piece of tape over the light to make it match (think like blue painters tape for example to make it blue).

I tried searching for it, but can't find where I originally saw it. Maybe someone who has done it can chime in with a picture and what they used?

Hes talking about the light that shines down on the NFC tray/cupholder area. 2020/21 MY G20's equipped with ambient lighting only came with one color LED in this area.

I used some transparent colored sticky vinyl from hobby lobby a few years back. I cut it out in the shape of the light and stuck it there. Has worked perfectly for me. I had to cut a few rectangles and layer it so it was dark enough (just one layer wasn't blue enough for me).

Haha you're welcome. And the light under there is longer than I suspected it to be. To make a template, I stuck my phone (with the screen off) under there and made a mental note of the dimensions by looking at the reflection of the light "unit" on the screen and then cutting out the vinyl to be slightly larger than that.

Never thought of it. Issue is getting to the light under there. If you're good at disassembling, you should be good.
