Hey guys

The 3 series lci is coming in 2022. This render shows an early preview of how the first fully electric 3 series could look like. What do you think abou the design?

Glad the grill is still normal. Headlights were perfect pre LCI. These kind of give off the new civic vibes but I'll reserve judgment until it's actual release.

It's becoming very frustrating to see small details change just for the sake of change. Why are they flipping the faux-angel eyes? It was bad enough that they made them full "L"-shaped but let's go further and flip them up side down.

It's likely that future BMW's will continue to move away traditional design cues but I'm already done with the current BMW's from a design point of view and looking towards the next-gen vehicles.

The blue trim/highlights gotta go. We get it, it's electric.

Exactly this. The departure from the iconic "eyes" to this now Audi-Kia-Honda-esque BS is BS.

It's already time for an LCI?

BMW's halo design trait are it's, well, halo angel eyes. We've seen them move to a more angular look over the past few years, but why flip the LED strips upside down? They are throwing a generations-old hallmark of BMW design in the trash.

That actually signifies upgraded headlights and laser headlights. Not ones for EV.

Saw a couple of G20s at the UDE in Philly yesterday. I always thought they were quite handsome cars, but I didn't realize how much this LCI is needed until then. Aside from an M340i in the parking lot, the 330i and 330e they had on a drag test were looking extremely dated, I thought they were F30s from across the parking lot.

What would blue trim inside the grilles have to do with laser lights? If that's the case, it makes even less sense. The point is that it carries over from the blue highlights on the i4, which is plastered with it.

I wish the G80 could offer this as an option.

The current ones look amazing in laser-spec. The two lower tier options look nothing like a BMW

Yeah, they heard my call and told me to f—k off. Single DRL like the upcoming 2er? I know it's a very early render but would be in line with what BMW would do. F—k me.

I like the new LED DRLs (I wouldn't call them halos) over the current pre-LCI. They look more angular and aggressive than the pre-LCI that makes the car look like it has sleepy eyes.
