Trunk lift with spoiler
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I added a nice spoiler to my 330i and the truck doesn't open all the way on its own. Is there any adjustments BMW left as they do offer spoilers? |

Ok, just did some more googling. For anyone who needs to know, Pull the pins in the top rear corner of the trunk liner on each side remove the liner from the weatherstripping there are three adjustment points for the spring it is in number one and that is adjacent to number three, number two is on top which for a small spoiler was just perfect

I agree. I'm pretty sure no one knew about it. Good info to add to our knowledge banks.

Good to know, thanks. btw, I think the search function on this site is terrible. It's amazing that you type in a phrase and it gives you hits on one word. I type in "tool kit" and I get a million hits for "tool" or "kit", but not both. So there may be the greatest thread on this site discussing tool kits, but I would never know. /rant

Make sure to be ready for the power of the spring when you move it to a different setting…I found out the hard way then had to recover the spring from behind the wheel arch 🤦🏻*♂️
