New to the forum and new to the BMW world. I made the switch from Japanese tuner cars finally.
I will have to get out and take some proper photos of the car instead of these snapchat quality photos. Dravit grey is like 3 colours in one and the contrast in the carbon roof makes it look amazing.

Just put on some 796m wheels for winter. The larger brakes are such a tight fit on the new wheels. They were even close on the 19s

Yes, a tight fit ! Those Style M796 alloys are the only BMW 18" alloys that will fit the M340ix with the Track Package's larger front brakes.
I have the same winter set in my garage, waiting for my M340ix to arrive.
Hopefully by mid January ?

Your red brakes look good with Dravit Grey !!!

This will have to wait until winter is done. We get quite a bit of snow in Calgary. I might just do the spoiler and ceramic coat it for now.

I was very skeptical on if they would fit or not. The techs at BMW said that they put tons of 18s on m340i, but really, how many of them have track package, and how many of those winter drive their cars? Haha

The red brakes are nice. They stand out quite a bit though. I am still undecided if I like the blue or red more

Like you I was sceptical about the 18" Style 796 wheels fitting over the larger front brakes of the Track Package. However, the production of the original M340ix that I ordered has been delayed twice over ! My dealer suggested that I change to an earlier production car (same colour combo) which does not have Track Package; otherwise similar options. My latest car is scheduled to finish production today, November 3rd. Still waiting to hear if it has a Touch Screen

I have attached a photo of an Oxide Grey M340ix equipped with blue M Brakes. Red brakes wills stand out more

Its normal for a automotive technician to own many vehicle. That's what I always tell myself with my 5 current vehicles haha

I'm pretty sure that all of them have touch screens with the ID7. My dealer only got two m340i and the other was an oxide grey. I decided to go with the dravit because of the carbon roof and the track package. Hopefully you get yours soon! It is worth the wait for sure.


Might as well add another photo. Nothing new on the car yet except for a glass push start button from eBay.
